Who this covers
FindFlightEasy is the name of this website. A registered company name, address, and company number have not been published here.
Needs confirmation. Legal name, postal address, and the person responsible for privacy requests.
The site lets you search flights, review supplied car rental examples, and send a cruise inquiry or a contact message. It does not take payment, issue tickets, confirm a rental, or hold a cruise cabin.
Information collected
Flight search
A flight search asks for a trip type, origin and destination airport, dates, a count of adult passengers from 1 to 9, a cabin, and whether you want any stops or nonstop only. It does not ask for your name, email, passport, or payment card. The search is not saved in the site database. The details can appear in the page address and may be included in ordinary web-server logs.
When a Duffel access token is configured on the server, those search details are sent from this server to Duffel’s offer-request API. The reply can include airline, schedule, stop, and price information, which is then shown on the flight page. If no token is configured, Duffel is not called and no sample fares are shown. This website does not create a Duffel order.
Car rental search
A car search asks for one location, a pickup date, a return date, a driver age from 21 to 99, and a category. The car rentals page also asks for a pickup time and a return time. The same location is used for pickup and return. Those details are checked and then discarded. They are not saved in the site database, and the current software does not send them to a rental company. The fleet, features, and daily figures on the car page are supplied display information, not a live quote or a reserved car.
Cruise inquiry
A cruise inquiry is saved in the site database when the form is valid. The saved fields are your name, email, phone, destination, travel window, and number of travelers. The travel window can also include a duration preference and a short note, up to 120 characters altogether. The site also stores the time of the submission and a keyed hash of the network address, not the address itself. You receive a reference in the form FFE-C followed by a number. The site does not email you automatically, and it does not send the inquiry to a cruise line.
Contact message
A contact message is saved when the form is valid. The saved fields are your name, email, phone if you provide one, topic, and message. The site also stores the time of the submission and a keyed hash of the network address. You receive a reference in the form FFE-M followed by a number. The message is not emailed automatically.
What is not collected
- Payment card numbers or other payment details
- Passport, visa, or date-of-birth details
- A user account or password
- Flight or car searches, as database records
Each public form includes a hidden field named as a company website. If that field is filled, the site shows a received message and does not save the submission. Leave that field empty.
How it is used
Flight details are used to request offers from Duffel when that connection is configured, and to show the reply on the page. Car details are used only to check that the form is complete. Cruise inquiries and contact messages are stored so the desk can read them later and match them to the reference number. The address hash and session limits are used to reduce repeated automated submissions. The site does not use this information for advertising.
Sharing
Flight search details may be sent to Duffel, as described above. Duffel’s own terms and privacy notice apply to information Duffel receives. This website does not control how long Duffel keeps a request.
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to fetch those files. Some car photographs are loaded from images.unsplash.com. Your browser contacts that service to fetch the image. Those requests are for display. They are not your inquiry or booking record.
Cruise inquiries and contact messages stay in this website’s database. The current software does not forward them to an airline, rental company, cruise line, or email provider. The site does not sell personal information and does not include an advertising or analytics service.
Needs confirmation. Whether staff will later share a saved inquiry with a travel supplier, and which suppliers those would be.
Cookies and similar tools
The site sets one session cookie, named FFESESSION. It keeps a short session so the site can check a security token when you submit a form and can limit how often a form is sent from that session. The cookie is set to end when the browser session ends. It is marked HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and it is marked Secure when the page is served over HTTPS.
The project does not include analytics, advertising cookies, or a cookie-consent banner. No separate analytics tool was found in the site.
Security
Form submissions must come from this site and include the session security token. The inquiry database is kept in a folder the site tells the web server not to serve directly. Network addresses on saved records are stored as a keyed hash rather than the raw address. Pages are sent with standard browser protections against framing and content sniffing.
These are the measures built into the website. They reduce common risks. They are not a promise that information cannot be lost, copied, or accessed.
Retention and deletion
Saved cruise inquiries and contact messages remain in the database until someone with access to that database removes them. The website does not delete them on a schedule. Flight and car searches are not kept as customer records. Server and error logs may still keep technical records of a request, such as a failure notice or an HTTP status, under the hosting setup. This project does not define how long those logs are kept.
Needs confirmation. How long inquiries, messages, and server logs should be kept, and who is allowed to delete them.
Your requests
You can ask the desk to tell you what a saved inquiry or message contains, to correct it, or to delete it. Use the contact form and include the reference number, the name and email on the record, and what you want done. There is no self-service page for this. The site does not promise a particular response time.
Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to a use. This page does not state that a particular privacy law applies.
Needs confirmation. Which privacy laws the business will follow, and the response time for a privacy request.
The site does not ask for a child’s name or date of birth. Flight search asks only for a count of adults. The car form asks for a driver age and does not store it. The site is not offered as a service for children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new wording will replace this page and the effective date above will be updated. Older versions are not kept on the website.
Contact
Privacy questions go through the contact form. No public email address or postal address is published on the site. Choose the topic that fits, and include any reference number you were given.
